Completed Projects

We work on a lot of different crochet projects. Here is a sampling of some of the things we have done. These items are not for sale as they were for family, friends, or ourselves. We may be able to make more by special order so if you see something, and are serious about having it made, please e-mail Kerrie@APSYarn.com and she will reply with her answer.

Kerrie also does cross-stitch. See some of her cross-stitch projects.

Here are the finished works . . ..

This was my first attempt at the "63" Afghan. I made it for my brother Joe and his wife Maureen when they got married in 2000. I used Red Heart Burgundy, Hunter Green, and Aran. I was so impressed with the outcome, I have made two since (one for myself and one for my sister Andrea when she got married). This is an afghan that I made from a crochet exchange for 6" square for Grandma Farrell for Christmas 2002
This is a version of the "63 Easy to Crochet Squares Combine to make an Heirloom Afghan". I took 7" squares from several different books and web sites and created a one of a kind masterpiece for myself. It was made with Red Heart Country Blue, Light Gray and White. This is my third "63 afghan". My sister Andrea is getting married and I just sent it to NY. It is made from Red Heart Aran.
I made this afghan for a friend of mine named Karen Kelly for Christmas 2002. It was made from Red Heart yarn. The web address is.

This is the Irish Chain that I made for myself with Red Heart. The colors used were Country Blue, Light Gray and White.
NotreDame blanket in team colors Heart Tracks in Snow blanket - red on white
This was a graph I found on the internet many years ago. It has been removed since. I made this for my brother TJ. I used Red Heart Navy and Pop 'N Yarn either yellow or gold. This was my first project using bobbins. It was crocheted in all single crochet and took forever to finish, however, the finished product I was very proud of. It is a Kerrie "one and only" because I will never make that again. This was from a Quilt Pattern for Crochet book (I don't remember the exact name). My girlfriend Sharen is a quilter, so I had to make her this "Heart Tracks in the Snow" afghan. It is made from Granny Squares and was a great "take it with you project". It was made with Red Heart Cherry Red and White. She absolutely loved this afghan.
NY Jets blanket in team colors
This is a graph I made for my father Thomas. As you can tell he is a NY Jets fan. I made it with Red Heart White and Paddy Green. This is a Double Wedding Rings Afghan from freepatterns.com I changed the edging. It uses 2 stands of Red Heart white and a filet pattern. Very easy and pretty. This was a gift to my cousin Shannon and her husband Darrell.
This afghan was made for my best friend Andrea due to September 11, 2001. She works in downtown Manhattan. It is made from Red Heart. I made this Flag for my parents. They also live in NY and it is made out of granny squares. This afghan was also made from Red Heart.
